Industry insider Jason Schreier indicated earlier this month that GTA 6 would be “years away” but no precise dates were specified. Currently, Venture Beat website has found out that Take-Two plans to spend $89.2 million on marketing in fiscal 2024 (ending March 31, 2024), which is a significantly higher marketing expenditure for the next five years than every other fiscal year.
Although it does not necessarily confirm that GTA 6 is intended to release in 2023 or 2024, Analyst Jeff Cohen of Stephens Investment Company reported that Red Dead Redemption 2 has been predicted in the past successfully.
It should be noted that the previous 10-K financial filing by Take-Two (the company publishes these each year), then highlighted a similar budget for fiscal 2023, so it seems like it may have been put back. GTA 6 is it? It may be quite possible, but we could certainly have known it for a long time.
